Trail: Roca
From the cliffs to Cape of Roca Lighthouse
This circular trail begins and ends at the lighthouse of the imposing Cape of Roca. Both at the beginning and at the end, the trail takes us across fishermen paths marked on the coast line close to the cliffs which display a breathtaking view over the rock (it is not advisable to people suffering from dizzy spells), over the beaches of Ursa, Cavalo and Adraga and over the sea. Across the mainland and past the villages of Almoçageme, Ulgueira and Azóia, the farming and rural landscape is also very beautiful. This trail is a must.
Whoever wants to shorten this trail and make it certainly easier can finish it in Azóia and then take the N247-A to the lighthouse.
