Trail: GR30-Torres Vedras
From Forte de S. Vicente to Forte do Grilo
This is one of the most representative tracks of the GR30 since it starts and ends at Forte de S. Vicente, close to Torres Vedras. When it was built this was the most important locality of the defensive lines, on a central position of the 1st line and in the proximity of Serra do Socorro, the main signal and observation station.
The route unfolds essentially through traditional trails and access roads to farming areas, along mostly agricultural landscapes. It is a rather long circular trail, with several not too steep ascents and descents.
