Luso is a small and ancient town and the therapeutic qualities of its waters have been known for centuries. Since the end of the 18th century these waters have been used for medicinal purposes.

Buçaco - From Luso to Serra do Buçaco
This circular trail starts and finishes at the Luso Thermal Spa, close to the fountain. This trail takes you through the beautiful Forest of Buçaco with its luxuriant vegetation where here and there you can spot Carmelite monuments.
