POI: IGREJA S. PEDRO DE RUBIÃES

The church of S. Pedro de Rubiães is in Rubiães in Paredes de Coura Municipality and it has been a national monument since 1913.
The reference to the church building or rebuilding in 1257 is the oldest known reference to it. The nave was extended eastwards in the 16th century and the apse moved eastwards. The typically baroque bell tower dates from the 17th century.
