POI: IGREJA MATRIZ GOLEGÃ (GOLEGÃ PARISH CHURCH)
The Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição (Church of Our Lady of Conceição) is a national monument. It was built in the late 15th century – beginning of the 16th century on the place where it is said that a Gothic style parish church stood. It was probably designed by Diogo Boytac. It displays a characteristic Manueline decoration and a magnificent entrance.
