POI: FORTE DE S.JORGE DE OITAVOS (Fort)
Built between 1642 and 1648, this fort was originally known as the Oito Ovos stronghold because it stood near the Oito Ovos hill, currently Oitavos, where there was a look-out.
A small sized maritime fortification, it has a poligonal plant with five different sides that is adjusted to the relief of the cliff where it stands.
