POI: CAPE ESPICHEL LIGHTHOUSE
It was opened in 1790 and in 1865 it was fed by 17 oil lamps which allowed a light view up to 13 sea miles. Its fuel changed in 1886 when it began being fed by the burning of oil steam and later in 1926 by electricity.
This lighthouse is 32 metres high, it stands at an altitude of 168 metres and covers a range of 28 sea miles.
