POI: SESIMBRA CASTLE

It was built by the Moors,  conquered by D. Afonso Henriques in 1165, then conquered again by the Moors,  finally taken by the French Crusades in 1195 and rebuilt by D. Sancho I in 1200. Inside there is Santa Maria Church of the 12th century last rebuilt in the 18th century. The wall has two doors: Azóia and Sol.
